This Talent Acquisition and Junior Developer Program is a unique employment opportunity at which students will be immersed in a Modaltrans team and gain real-life software development experience. Upon successful completion of the program, the opportunity for full-time employment will be available at our company. The position starts on the 2nd of January 2023
Job Responsibilities
- Participating in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support.
- Creating Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) that are clean, well-documented, and easy to use.
- Designing and coding servers, services, applications, and databases.
Job Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.
- Ability to work an average 20-25 hour workweek during school sessions and/or weekends.
- Knowledge of JAVA or another object-oriented programming language.
- Living within commutable distance to our Maltepe/Istanbul office.
Skill & Experience
- Great at solving problems, debugging, troubleshooting, designing, and implementing solutions to complex technical issues.
- Have a solid understanding of software development and programming languages.
- Have the ability to learn new skills quickly and use the skills efficiently.
- Having a minimum of 3 months experience in Ruby on Rails and/or had been attend advanced programming classes is the preferred technical background.
