Entering the last week of 2024, we remain committed to delivering improvements that support your operations. Here’s a summary of this week’s updates.
- Linking Contract No with Bookings
- In the Network section, you can list your contracts and easily link them to bookings by selecting the relevant contract in the booking form. You can view the contract number in the "Overview" section of the booking and quickly access related bookings from the "Related Bookings" tab within the contract. Thanks to @Dave for this valuable suggestion!
- Updates in the Prospect Tab
- By adding your prospects, you can track the entire journey from potential to sale directly within Modaltrans. To make this process easier, we’ve introduced two new types of prospects:
- Creating a prospect for an existing company card.
- Adding a prospect record for a new customer.
- Editing Job Ref in Purchase Invoices
- You can now edit the "Job Ref" field in your purchase invoices. This feature allows you to manage your invoices with greater flexibility.
- Postcode Filters on the Quotation Page
- We’ve added two new postcode filters to the quotation page. These filters make it easier to find transports within the same region and can be applied to both "Collection" and "Delivery." You can filter by entering the full postcode or just the first 3-4 digits. A big thank you to @Verity for this excellent suggestion!
- Notification for Reservation Requests from the Client Portal
- Previously, reservation notifications created in the Client Portal were sent to the email address selected in the "Online Quote Notification Emails" section of General CRM Settings. With our latest development, operational teams can now also receive notification emails for the relevant transport type based on the additional emails you add to the system .
- The Tariff Rate field has been made mandatory for Air Export Shipments
- The Tariff Rate field has been made mandatory for air export shipments to ensure smooth processes and prevent missing information in records.
Quick Fixes
- A "Draft" filter has been added to help you easily find draft bookings.
- The issue in the invoice item editing form has been resolved.
- The errors in creating warehouse transactions from Booking have been corrected.
